Under Hood Engine Cover

We are looking to buy a Limited and when I looked at the engine there was no simple plastic engine cover on it. You could see the mounting posts and all of the webpage images show the V6 with a simple dress up cover. My dealer looked at another Limited on there lot with the same thing. Is this now an option not included until you get to the Overland or higher? Feel free to post an image.

No engine cover

Just go on the mopar parts website…. Look for engine cover and buy it. Also buy the two screws and like you said mounts are already there for it

I was able to find all of the part numbers, but is something that should be on or missing due to an early build of the Jeep?

I bought mine and installed myself. This actually helped with the hood flutter that some people had on the highway. Should have come with all models of the jeep. But $38 it was a no brained purchase

Interested. Pls share part number.

Also would this help with engine noise at all or just aesthetics?

Are you kidding me, now the GCL isn’t coming with the cover either??
Also, what’s the point in us buying it? It’s cosmetic only right, or am I missing some underlying benefit?

This is a extremely cheap move by Jeep not to include this in all trims. It saves them absolutely nothing.
Even if this costs $100 bucks aftermarket, the cost for Jeep in large scale is maybe 15 bucks.

Just reiterating this.
Cheap cheap move, these parts would cost Jeep not more than 15-20 dollars.
Someone recently shared a Limited 2022 L with the black appearance package and all packages at a whopping $57K... That's crazy, and Jeep wants to save some dollars excluding a cover in a 57K car.
