Uconnect McIntosh Screen Doesn’t Work

When we picked it up, the McIntosh screen would move and measure the decibels, but now even with the music blasting, the gauges just sit there without moving. Any idea how to fix this? I know it’s a super minor feature, but I’d still like everything to work on our brand new Jeep.

Yes, several times. I had to do that to get Apple CarPlay to work again and it fixed the Caraplay problem but not the McIntosh problem.
Also: Sat radio quality is pure garbage; get yourself some quality audio to really demonstrate how the car sounds. Night and day difference.

I tried streaming from my phone and wow what a difference. And the McIntosh display worked. Thanks for all your help!

SiriusXM is good when you don't know what you want to listen to; if you do know, other sources are much better. Few other tips: give HD over the air radio a shot, I was surprised how much better it is than regular radio. Also, I use the USB-C connection from my phone to the car. Wireless CarPlay burns thru the battery and is glitchy. Finally, I use the in-car WiFi to stream over my phone and have Apple Music set for lossless audio over wifi. Good luck with the car!

Thanks let me know if you get a chance to test. We are looking at '22 fully loaded overland with off road group. If jeep ever opens orders lol
I don't have any USB music anymore. I'm full streaming, especially since Apple Music began pumping out lossless audio (as long as you've activated it in the settings). I use the in-car Wifi as not to kill my cell data plan, and use the USB-C connection and it's the best in-car music experience ever. The McIntosh meters app is really more of a cool novelty than anything else, there aren't any adjustments to make in it. Good luck with the search, I have a loaded OL but the O/R group wasn't available anywhere (literally!). I'll have this model for at least 6 years...hopefully by 2027 Jeep will be past their production delays!

Thank you I use a combo on Apple Music via USB on my '18 wk2 and also some lossless music via USB flash drive. Agreed the lossless upgrade was awesome with Apple Music.
