Uconnect Box Error

This has been going on for over 6+ months now. I had it in the dealer once but they just told me it would be addressed in a OTA software update. This is BS! I'm tired of paying for a new vehicle without having one that works as it should. Btw, my SOS light is also lit up. Can I demand the dealer to put in a new unit?

I had the same issue. Error message and SOS lit up. Dealer tore apart the dash looking for a purple wire and the cellular box which Jeep told them to look for. Never found the purple wire but they said they'd order a new cellular box. I told them to just put everything back together and give me my car back. Since then, the error message has never popped up again. So clearly it is most likely not a hardware issue and just something that needed reset in the system. Best of luck... I know how frustrating this is. I dealt with it for a couple months.

Oh yeah you can demand it, don’t mean it’s going to happen. These vehicles are nothing more than a rolling problem.

Unload the :poop:
It might come down to that. On an unrelated issue, I have been waiting for new motor mounts to arrive (since late June). My Jeep is jerky when taking off, or when coming to a stop and it is very annoying. I wonder if I am doing any damage to anything else when driving it this way. I mean, the motor must be shifting a little to cause this inertia making it jerk. Dealer said it was OK and I figure if anything does get messed up, they'll just have to fix it, right?

I'm experiencing the same issue for the last 4 months. Its been to the dealership and back. They found no issue... but there's an issue. This is driving me nuts

it went away for a few weeks but then came right back. Don't celebrate yet.

Same thing here!! It'll go away for about a week and then out of the blue, it will pop up every 3-5 minutes after I hit OK. Something is wrong with it.

With my experience, they won’t fix it. Document all of your service trips and conversations. You may need it with an attorney.

Have had this issue a couple of times before, every time I have solved it by calling connected services support. They take around a week or so but they remotely do something that fixes it.

Owned my JGCL Limited since December 2021, no issues whatsoever. Guess I am lucky; and you all have lemons. But with all new model vehicles it is a toss of a coin. It is my rule to buy full coverage on new models; I've done it with the 2006 Ford Fusion SEL, 2009 Challenger R/T, 2010 MINI Cooper Countryman, 2011 Jeep Patriot, and now 2021 JGCL. All my vehicles had issues due to the first year's models; except the 2021 JGCL. There is no excuse, but issues happen.

You have full coverage for 3/36k, so there's no need for additional warranty until that is expired (I bought the 8/125k Mopar MaxCare, planning to own it a longer time).

The real problem is they don't actually know how to fix so many of the problems... like almost none out of my five page list of mostly electrical issues. You have to expect some teething issues with first model years, but this thing has been insane... The problem is they buy all these modules and systems from independent suppliers and the Stellantis techs are not very good at programming it all out of the gate, and don't know how to troubleshoot it. One knick in a harness or one bad module in the right place and you can get all kinds of random problems.

congrats!
Fortunately they refund most of your money if you sell the car. They keep like $50/mo during the 3/36 period where the only thing they provide is extra towing/rental type coverage, but you get the bulk of it back. It's also transferable to the new owner, who is definitely going to need it, for like $100 or some nominal amount.
