I haven't seen any recent post on aftermarket TPMS sensors not activating on the 2021 GCL, has anyone found a fix, or do I have to buy mopars?

My shop tried multiple aftermarket sensors, nothing worked, they pulled the VIN and ordered MOPAR

Everything I've read says none of the aftermarket options are compatible. That will probably change eventually, but I wouldn't spend money on anything but MOPAR until multiple people report a true 'known good' option. This car has so many electrical/computer issues as it is, adding anything non-OEM at this point seems like asking for problems.

Just FYI, even if you buy Mopar ones, they might not automatically retrain. I know that the manual says it will if you drive for half an hour but I don't think it works. I put aftermarket wheels and basically put my stock TPMS in them. But when I did it I accidentally put them for the wrong wheels meaning left went to right, front went to back, etc. After that I drove for 2000+ miles and it never re-trained. Finally I went to the dealership and they were happy to retrain them for free but that took another month because they didn't have the tool specific for the 2021 GCL so they had to wait for Stellantis to ship one to them.

I have some aftermarket sensors in a set of wheels - the brand is called "Smart." They have not given me an issue yet. I had them originally installed in some wheels that were on a WK2 GC and they were able to reprogram them for the GCL.
