Tow package/ hitches

So I was told all GCL have a tow hitch under the black plastic piece. After reading around this forum I'm learning this isn't the case?

I tow infrequently my 5500lbs (fully loaded on trailer) boat twice a year (to marina at start of season and back at the end of the season). I'd highly prefer the tow package but no local dealers have any. I was told that they all had a hitch though behind that plastic piece on the bumper.

Which is it? If they don't all have it (I'm interested in a limited 4x4) what's needed to tow?

They lied. The tow package was reduced to a tow prep package last year due to supply chain issues. A factory hitch added later cost a small fortune even if you got the tow prep package. No wiring or hitch are provided with the tow prep package. It’s a s shady thing jeep did. I find out the hard way. Most literature showed hitches on them. Mine has the tow prep package. Was told by the dealer it had a hitch. Got it home and took the cover off and nothing there. Fortunately I have a truck that I tow with. Just would have been to have the option to tow of I wanted with the GCL.
