Tow Hook Mount Front License Plate

Has anyone mounted their front license plate using their threaded tow hook in the front? Moving to Europe and taking the car so now I'll need a front plate and I'll be damned if I have to drill holes in the front bumper. If you have a link for what you use, all the better.

Double check you even have a front tow hook. I think people reported that there was not a threaded insert behind the cover.

Here is the mount. Not sure if this is the correct on but not sure if this the same threads but this is what you will need

You may also be able to use automotive double sided adhesive tape to mount the plate. This type of tape is used to mount various trim parts and is very reliable. Many EU countries have vey specific laws and vehicle requirements including license plate locations (ie location, height from ground, etc). You may even want to glue screw heads to the license plate to make it look like it's screwed on. That's what I would probably do.
