Did you just recently put the USB stick in the port? If so, it might take a while to read it.
I'm having some issues as well. Although it plays music, it only shows a part of what's on the stick. Sits at about 8,300 songs now but that can't be the limit. Even the 2015 I had showed more.
I had a USB with all my music 450+ songs of Mp3 and Wma mixed. Uconnect would only recognize the Mp3 tracks. I had to convert all of the Wma to Mp3. All music is recognized now.
I'll have to look at the memory stick in my truck, but I could have sworn that I have a 128GB sandisk micro cruiser....and it seems to read MP3 files fine....
I'm currently transferring my files onto a 256 GB stick that I previously used in my BMW where it was formatted to exFAT. The Jeep rejected it. I formatted it to FAT32 and am currently getting my files back on it. I have a total of about 22,000 .mp3 tracks. I'll let you know how that works.
There is a TSB to update the USB ports I believe. It was done to mine one of the times it was in trying to get the other radio issues fixed and it did fix my issue with reading files.
Well, with all 22,000 files, it did not recognize the stick. I took about 1/3 off and it is reading it now. I will have to wait how many files it sees. I hope more than the previous 8,000.
