I’m ready to just get into a different GCL. I just got back from speaking with my dealer. They offered to trade…at the used car value. That makes absolutely no sense. I’m ready to call a lemon law attorney and just be done with the BS.
My original UConnect system had a plethora of problems. The screen would just freeze up, the system randomly rebooted, the speedometer would show I was traveling at 50 MPH in park. The SXM information would freeze. I had it in a couple of times and finally Chrysler approved a new UConnect system. Now it is worse. Anytime I turn the GCL off the UConnect system changes to all the default settings and changes the language to Italian and all metric units. Supposedly Chrysler engineers are working with my dealer to correct all of this. I‘m at the point that I will never trust this particular vehicle even if they seem to have it all taken care of...which I don’t believe they will. In the meantime I’m making huge payments just to have my GCL setting in the shop.
One would hope that Chrysler/Jeep would do the right thing and give me another vehicle without the hassle of filing a lemon law case.
