Sunroof leaking

I have a 2021 GJL and I am having problems with sunroof leaking. I tested both drain hole left and right and appear to be draining properly. Thought the problem might be the drains were freezing because it seemed to only happen during snow or freezing rain. The temps have increase and the north east and after sitting for several days in on and off rain. I went to drive it and water came pouring out by the eye glass holder again I contacted the dealer who is 50 miles away and want me to leave it for several days because the claim they have a outside vender repair the sunroofs any ideas. PS no loaner cars available there.

There have been leaking issues on other vehicles when the idle vehicle is parked not level, rained upon, then moved, resulting in leaks because the gutter retained water below the drain, then the vehicle attitude changed faster then the functional drain could expel the water.

Is that a possible condition for this problem?

Same. I bought GCL in January and we had rain yesterday in SoCal presenting a leak near sunglass holder. Jeep was parked level. :(

Does anyone have minor water stains/marks on their WL's retractable sunroof cover or ceiling? I don't believe that I have a leak. But it appears that (i) retracting the cover or (ii) opening the sunroof panel after the weather dries up but with precipitation droplets remaining on the sunroof may inadvertently cause them to spill onto the ceiling area.

I know that this sounds obvious. But wanted to mention this and see if anyone has experienced this or has tips.

3EB345EB-B3C5-4F65-A28B-E78E280BFF40.jpegHad a problem with water leaking through the passenger sun visor yesterday after a car wash. Is there a bulletin number to reference to the dealership for this to get fixed?

I have not seen this type of leak before. I'll let you know if I come across any written bulletin or additional guidance on the ceiling/sunroof leak.

For what it's worth, I have not noticed any additional water marks over the past two weeks, despite several days of rain.

So you will be leaving your Jeep with the dealership for a few days?
Good question, not sure why it will take a few days for a seemingly isolated repair which does not require much labor.

Also, I am not sure that the referenced bulletin above covers Chitown JGCL's specific issue.

I had to drop my truck off the night before they told me they have a outside contractor for leaks and wanted to make sure vehicle was there. I also received a text from my dealer today the leak is from the windshield not the sun roof and will be replacing my windshield along with some computer updates and check my charging pad that overheats. The gave me a loaner 22 Jeep Compass so Im ok with them taking there time fixing it as long as it done right. Hopefully Ill get it back by the weekend and the windshield is not on backorder.

Looks like rust starting in there too. Make sure you ask them to clean the rust, paint it with rust converter, and then with primer and a top coat, otherwise you'll have bigger issues down the road. Real shame to see this kind of assembly issue. I would demand iPhone photos of the process so you can be sure they didn't just sweep it under the rug.
