Splash guards/mud flaps

I’m curious to how many of you had the mud flaps installed? It was a package option for my V8 SR, but I did not include it in my order. I assume the dealership can always install it after delivery. I don’t plan to do any off-roading, just driving around the suburbs.

Im pretty sure its cheaper to install them later if needed.

Didnt buy them to save some $, same with the color, but in general $500 compared to 60k car is not a big deal.

Seems like it’s not super challenging to install, product is about $120 for the full set. I may try to negotiate a fair rate for the dealership to do it, depends if they reasonable on the service rate. Was more curious to how many people decide to get them added to their GCs.

I just ordered some for my GCL. They help with splashes on the doors. I had dealer install them on my Durango before. They charged me $65 to install. Hoping they will do the same for the GCL.

The only thing in the package I would actually want is the 3m clear stickers. They are currently on my Trailhawk ( i don't recall it being an extra option I selected ) and it is seems useful. Whereas they place them on the "forward" parts of the side body paneling to protect against rock dings.
It might be wise though to just have someone put on a clear bra and some of those side decals aftermarket when i finally get it.

I ordered the package. Glad I did it helps alot against rock chips. Plus if it’s a factory option and there’s a problem they gotta replace it or fix it

I ordered the package for my Summit. I wish I hadn't since it could take 7-10 days to send the vehicle to the factory contractors to install. I should have had the dealer install the flaps (I didn't know it would add that much additional time to the build). I have been waiting 10 weeks in 'D' status (awaiting parts) and adding another week, for the flaps, to the build is ridiculous!!

Week 14 in D status. I did order the flaps but definitely not the delay in getting it built. Might add a week but they have to start first

I now have a build sheet, so movement at last. No window sticker yet, but I’ll take the build sheet as good news. Doubtful it will ship tomorrow but that’s ok. At least I know it is coming soon.

Months ago after I did the build on the Jeep website, basically checking off every option for my GCSR, I did a search for vehicles within 200 miles. One popped up showing in transit to a dealer 50 miles away. It had everything except the protection package (splashguards and paint chip protection). Fast forward to my GCSR that I picked up last Friday. I have the OEM splashguards coming from "Just For Jeeps" website that I will install myself. Supposed to be here tomorrow.

I have a 2 row 2022 summit reserve. And I just installed the factory running boards. I have the factory mud guards from the factory order. They work perfectly with the factory running boards.

I installed the Weathertechs. They look great and there was no cutting or drilling. Took me about 20 minutes to install them all
