Service question

I took my car to the dealer for the two recalls I have. They told me it would take them the whole day, so I should leave my car and pick it up before they close. My question is, shouldn't they provide me a loaner or rental in this case?
They told me no when I asked them, but I would like to be sure and know my options.

A couple of potential options...

FIRST-DAY RENTAL ALLOWANCE

Need to take your vehicle in for service? All Jeep Wave® memberships include a no-charge same-day vehicle rental 1 for routine maintenance.
Rental allowance (not to exceed $35) is only for same-day mechanical repair or maintenance service (excluding bodywork). Vehicles kept overnight are not eligible.

or

FACTORY EXTENDED WARRANTY

FIRST DAY RENTAL: First Day Rental Allowance provides up to $35.00 car rental allowance if the Vehicle is to be serviced for any mechanical repair or maintenance service. Please note: Excludes rental for bodywork to the exterior sheet metal/composite panel or collision repairs.

They are supposed to provide a rental but there are usually no rentals available. I verified this with the rental companies. The should alternatively provide you pickup and drop off

Mine has been at dealer for 31 days... they did give me a rental, but I am trying to get them to buy the car back. Dealership not helpful at all, and put it on me to deal with Jeep/Chrysler

Same here, no loaners available at dealer, shuttle is always offered. Just did the recall, a service bulletin and a requested alignment (pulled right). Luckily my dealer if local, and good.

Someone else noticed it but call Jeep Cares. Sort of sucks to go that route when it's a same day stint but they are required to. Problem is they may not have vehicles readily available OR they don't want to use their vehicles so the dealer rolls the dice with a NO and hopes you don't push up the chain.
