Self upgrading

Anyone have ideas if I would be able to self-upgrade a few options like the HUD, night vision camera or 10.1" display? I am thinking the display would be easy after getting part it uses the same back-end computer but may need a dealer to update option code in the computer.

Figured I would ask, I know its probably to early to know for sure.

I had a 2016 JK with factory radio, you could get the adapter for a back-up camera then goto the dealer to have the option code enabled and it would work. And it was not even an option.

I just picked up an overland 4x4 last night for my wife. We looked at a limited that had the interior rear facing camera but wanted the upgraded suspension the overland had. I didn't notice until we had already decided the overland was good to go that it didn't have the rear facing camera. Long story long, I've started research to try and find the camera and see if I can add it on with full function. Fingers crossed that I'll be able to find one first, and that second it'll work once installed. If you have any success with the HUD I'd be very interested to know. She liked that feature as well, which we didn't get.
