Satin PPF on Velvet Red Summit Reserve

Just got the whip back from having window tint and satin paint protection film. Kept the roof gloss (no PPF) but the backs of the mirrors have clear PPF. (Here in Arizona, stones being thrown up on the road are a way of life as we have rock in our yards that tires pick up and toss on the freeway)
BTW, I've got a new set of stock 21" Summit reserve wheels and tires (16 miles on them) for sale. DM me if interested.

Thanks! I was a bit nervous as to how it would turn out and went back and forth between clear and satin. They used a product called "Satin Guard" from a company called Prestige Film Technologies. It is more expensive, but is suppose to provide more depth and transitions depending on lighting. The photos were taken late in the day with clouds, so I'll post some with it in the sun so see how it compares.

It is gorgeous. This would be the only way I would ever buy a red color... so sharp!

Body lines look great with the satin! I'm just living through your mods at the moment, while I don't even have my VIN yet. 😅
Love what you've done so far!!

I like the satin finish. I can honestly say I didn't know they could do that.

Did you upgrade the calipers or just paint them?

Unfortunately, neither Brembo, Baer, or Wilwood makes brake calipers for the WL74 or 75 so I ended up just using the G2 caliper paint as the wheels are far more open design than the stock Summit Reserve wheels.
Not sure there will be enough demand for them to create something for the new GC/GCL, but perhaps if they come out with a TrackHawk version, there may be a performance brake available.
