Just want to give a heads up that some owners may want to check.

Some 2021-2022 MY Jeep Grand Cherokee L vehicles may have been built with a missing weld or welds from the seat back frame to the child tether on one or both of the second row seats. The suspect period began on October 13, 2021, when the first vehicle was produced with a missing weld or welds, and ended on February 2, 2022, when sort procedures were implemented in vehicle production. Supplier and vehicle production and traceability records were used to identify the suspect period and specific vehicles. Similar vehicles not included in this recall were built before or after the suspect period, have completed welds on the seat back frame, or were repaired prior to release from the production plant. Production Dates : OCT 13, 2021 - FEB 02, 2022

You should be able to check the VIN in the system, but also if you look at the date code on the window sticker it should give you an idea if you might be affected. (The build date on my GCL was 02/09, so I just missed it by a week!)
