Roof rails

I haven’t looked into it yet but does the GCL come standard with roof rails or are they just for shoe until you buy them? My GC had these plastic pieces to make it look like them but they were not actual roof rails.

They are rails and you can mount crossbars to it.

Seems odd your GC doesn't have normal rails, all the ones I have seen have channels in the top for T bolts

It had holes in the roof to put roof rails in but the plastic piece that was screwed into it was not an actual roof rail. Had to buy the rails and cross bars

It uses the same adapter plates as the Jeep Compass. I have the Yakima setup, which sits too high for my liking (the OEM Thule and aftermarket Thule are even higher). I also just recieved my new Rhino Rack setup, which uses low-rise towers so it will sit lower/closer to the roof, and should add precious inches for garage access.
