Road noise - GCL Summit Reserve

Has anyone noticed their GCL does not seem particularly quiet inside? We have a Summit Reserve with the 21" tires (Continental Cross Contact 275/45/21). My decibel X app at 70,mph reads between 80 and 82db on various non-concrete surfaces. My 2020 GMC Sierra with ANC maxes at 78db on the same surfaces, so this thing isn't as quiet as a truck. Is it possible the Active Noise Control in my car is not working? Does these vehicles seem loud to others? Could it be these Conti tires are noisy? I plan to have the dealer check it out but since it isn't throwing any codes we see, I suspect they'll say it is normal.

No! I had the exact same set up until a few days ago and put almost 1500 miles on those wheels and tires. The road noise was almost nonexistent and was quite impressed at how incredibly quiet the cabin was. If it’s definitely the tires, I would try to isolate which one it may be and bring it in to check for defects. Have them swap that wheel to another location and see if the noise goes with it

My experience with the Summit Reserve is totally different. It is much quieter than the BMW X5 I had previous to this.

I don't think the vehicle is quite in any special way. It just has normal road nose imo. Also what is this Active Noise Control you mentioned? I don't think the GCL has any features related to noise control other than the sound deadening, felt fender liners and thicker glass.

Do all the Overlands come with the ANC?

The only noise I noticed so far was wind noise coming from the sunroof at higher Interstate-speeds but even there, not always.

Is there any way to turn Active Noise Control on or off? I could have sworn mine was quieter in the first few weeks adn I'm wondering if it shut off or is malfunctioning.

I noticed mine was high in noise also. Has been in the shop for a while now but I think it is getting a little less noisy with wear
