Went to a local dealership in Jacksonville Florida, sticker price was $66k he offered to sell to me for $76k told him he can keep it, unfortunately all 4 dealerships in Jacksonville in under the same ownership group. Anyone in north or central Florida feel they got a good deal on a summit and if so where? And can you recommend a salesperson?

Not from there but MIL lives in Fernandina. Anyway, sounds like it might be worth driving to get a better deal. I got slightly below MSRP in July in Charlotte where I live. It's 5 hours away. I suspect between here and there or somewhere closer, you should be able to get better pricing. Don't pay above sticker to some greedy dealership group.

In the Facebook group some lady from Florida was posting a dealership that was selling for thousands under invoice. Maybe see if you can find her post.

We bought ours 3 weeks ago. MSRP was $66,275, but the dealer had a $2,000 discount so we got it for $64,275. This was in Los Angeles.

We probably went to the same jax dealer (westside). Sticker was $66,275 and they wanted around $8-9k in “market adjustment”. We ended up getting her for $70k but got about $6500 above KBB for our trade so we looked at it like a wash. The salesman was canned about 2 weeks later for being late.

I can tell you that Tom Hyde over at Garber Jeep is outstanding. He’s an old friend of mine. I know they have about 2-3 GCLs on the lot (not sure if Summits). Feel free to give him a call and tell him Ricky sent you (954) 632-6280.

The first dealership I approached had a Summit Reserve V8 demo car with 500 miles on it and scuffed up door panels and they wanted to sell it to me for $75K. I laughed and walked out. I am on my third Summit and not in a huge rush. So, I stopped by another dealership and ordered exactly what I wanted and got it for just below MSRP, but with an additional couple of thousand on my trade. My car gets here next week and that other dealership still has their car sitting in their show room. They call once a week to offer to me for $70K and I keep telling them that I will just wait for the one I ordered. I am just curious to see how long they hold onto that demo car before they start to drop the price.
