Rear seat heat controls

Has anybody else noticed that when a back seat passenger adjust the rear seat heat, the front seat heat also changes? Am I the only one, or is this just another of the ridiculously high number of bugs?

Check your settings. There is an option to “sync” all the zones. That may be what is happening. Not sure if that’s what is happening as we are still learning what everything does on our GCL but it’s possible.

I have not experienced this. I can say though, that it is a bit annoying that the rear seat heat is not an available button in the Uconnect menu. I can control the driver and passenger heated seats, I can control the temperature level front and back. But I can’t control/don’t know if the rear seat heaters are on.

"Front" and "Rear" are shown at the top of the UConnect screen for the climate controls.

This is what it shows for rear. No options to control the rear heated seats from the dash.

Presumably if the rear passenger adjusts the temp, the driver can adjust it back. Sort of like window switches work. Haven't checked it myself, though.

I think he is talking about being able to know if the rear seat heaters are turned on. Not the hvac system.

Correct, I am talking about controlling the rear seat electrically heated seat, not the rear HVAC.

I can not control the rear seat heaters from the dash.

Pretty silly considering I can control everything else.

Yeah, you'd think you could pull that up on the Uconnect screen. My screen only worked briefly (totally broken within a week of purchase, parts coming maybe in a couple more weeks), so I don't even know what is or isn't buried in there.
