Rain Sensing Wipers Inconsistent

I have rain sensing wipers activated on my GCL, and when it drizzles they go from very infrequent cycles to going full speed. Has anyone come across this? Should I just turn off the sensing feature?

Yes. Dealer cannot resolve the issue.

I've noticed this as well. I thought maybe I didn't know how to use it right, but it seems like it's just one more 'weird electrical behavior' from my Pandora's Uconnect Box.

My BMWs have had this feature for about 15 years, but it works in a much more 'expected' fashion re varying speed and correctly sensing the 'need'. Different systems, though, probably. You can always turn it off if you don't like how it operates, I guess.

My old Mercedes Benzs also work as it should.
On the GCL and my previous Durango don't work perfectly, very inconsistent.

Yeah I’ll probably just be shutting it off. Frustrating that dealer doesn’t have a solve for it.
There are a lot of issues like this. Mine seems really bad when the rain is like a mist? small droplets and many of them cause the system to go totally batshit. Otherwise, more normal rain it responds properly.
