I haven't, but I am having a litany of issues with my whole Uconnect display, Apple CarPlay, key fob syncing, memory settings, the screen constantly resetting and basically preventing any kind of screen use. The dealer ordered a 'new stereo' (the McIntosh amp, maybe the head unit/display, not sure yet). Others are having lots of problems with this as well. Your issue may be related to these things as well. My guess is a failure of a chip somewhere in the system. Some people have no problems, others do, so it wouldn't seem like a software-only problem.

You might also note whether you have the 10" screen or the 8" screen, I think they use different systems, and obviously some of the hardware is different.

McIntosh 10" screen here. Mine completely died while at the dealer for the recall software updates. Currently awaiting a replacement. The current ETA is roughly a week out.

That is the biggest concern I have as well. Other than that it really seems to be a great driving vehicle.

It's theoretically a totally phenomenal vehicle, with a combination of attributes you can't get anywhere else. The cabin is well-styled, the options list is at the forefront of tech, the road manners with the air suspension in Sport Mode are in BMW X5 territory (a tad below), while being so incredibly capable off road at the same time. Unfortunately, the reliability in the first year and the factory support (lack thereof) is worse than even Range Rover, and I expect the depreciation is going to be just as bad and probably worse.

But if it all worked, the only thing I could wish for is a diesel, or that new twin turbo inline six, because I'm averaging 13MPG in mixed driving (I was expecting at least 15!?!).

I hope they get their act together, because right now they are unloading both barrels in their feet with their customers. And it's going to cost them a lot of sales, now and down the road.

I guess I am numb. I have had trouble with most brands that I have bought brand new. The biggest POS i ever had in my garage was a 2014 Honda Pilot Touring that burned oil from day 1 and Honda said it was normal. I unloaded that on a 2015 Toyota 4 Runner Limited that now has 154k and has never had 1 single issue. Nothing!
I would have bought another but was looking for more room and a little more luxury. I went in to this Jeep purchase expecting the worst so I have not been disapointed yet. Plus I have the unlimited 7 year warranty which will put me at 200k miles when it runs out. So I plan on driving the hell out of it and see what happens.

The only other cars I would consider are the not-yet-released/announced Sequoia with the turbo hybrid 6, or the diesel Tahoe. But neither of those will have a road manners or offroad capability of the GC. I bought the mopar 8/125k warranty, so if they don't buy this one back, they're going to wish they had built it better in the first place.
