Radio app pics please

I am looking for owners that have the 8.4" radio.
Do you have the weather app?
Do you have the Alexa app?
Do you have off-road pages?

If so can you post a few pics of them working?
I have all three on mine and the weather app flashes the screen, Alexa app disappeared and the off-road pages works.

I get mixed feedback from people if these are supposed Steven be on the 8.4" version.

I would, I have the 8.4 and I have no weather app, no Alexa and no off road pages. Sorry nothing to take pictures of. Been trying to get it fixed for over a month now but I’m not sure if anyone knows how to.

We have the 8.4 in our altitude as well. I didn’t know we were supposed to have those apps. Must be a software thing obviously if OP has them

You need to open a case with the jeep assist button, don’t push jeep connect services even though that seems the logical choice.

I just did this a few minutes ago. The guy I talked to said some vehicles have it and some don’t right now. They are working on a software update and once it’s available you’ll get an email and it can be done over your home Wi-Fi

It's amazon how many "software updates" they are working on.

My Jeep has now been to service for 20 days total so far JUST for radio issues. At least I am not the only one having these type of issues.
Last issue is a loud static coming out of a few speakers and it no longer sounds correct like the amplifier has failed. Took it to dealer and when they scanned it showed a short circuit error. They just got a new radio to replace it so hopefully that takes care of at least some of the issues.

I have off-road pages and they work fine.
Alexa shows up when I reset the radio and works for a few days then the app disappears.
Weather app is there but when pressed it just flashes screen. This is on a 2021 GCL Limited with the 8.4.

I have had this same issue since I bought my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L in July. No one that I have talked to seems to have a solution.
Have you gotten this resolved? Where are you going to reset the radio? Are you resetting to factory settings? I would like to try to reset to see if that works.

I am just waiting for them to give me a line like "your not supposed to have those with the 8.4". I know 3 of the three apps work fine on the 8.4, thats why I was asking if anyone else had them and if they were all working.
Sounds like Jeep does not not what is supposed to be installed on witch version of the infotainment systems.

And I dont think Jeep even knows what supposed to come with these. I have an 8.4 and Off-road, Alexa and Weather app came with mine and they worked when I first got it.

I want to see pics of someone's 8.4 that is actually working and which apps it does have on it. Jeep does NOT seem to know what the 8.4 version is "supposed" have on it.
Why is it this hard to get an answer form Jeep?

@JeepCares Get us a list of what SHOULD be on the 8.4" and 10.1" uconnect systems.
Should the 8.4 have Weather, Off-road and Alexa apps on them? Find out from FCA engineering and let us ALL know.

@JeepCares here is a general question you should actually be able to answer for all of us. Please answer this without a canned response. I to had Alexa, Off road pages and weather app upon delivery. That has disappeared since. I have the 8.4

I was just on the phone with Uconnect in Car system regarding the Alexa again. She was wanting me to factory reset the radio and said i should have a Voice Command button but I do not have this on my steering wheel. I have a green telephone icon (with a microphone) button and a red telephone button. Just curious if anyone else has different buttons on the steering wheel because with the alexa it used to say press button on steering wheel to talk. and of course this never worked with the only buttons i have. Is our steering wheel wrong? hmmmm

Well, I press the green phone button. As a response, I get a beep. I then say "Alexa" and I get the usual Alexa confirmation sound. After that, I say the actual command like "shuffle my music" (without saying "Alexa" again). So yes, the phone/mic button is also used for Alexa.
