Piece of crap…I’m pissed and done with Jeep…

I bought a 21 GCL Overland in July. In the first 3 months it was in the shop 35 days for various intermittent problems, mostly electrical faults associated with the UConnect system. I finally filed an arbitration case and Jeep agreed to repurchase that GCL so that I could purchase a new GCL. I ordered a 22 GCL Summit Reserve on 10/15. I was assured it would be expedited. First lie. It finally arrived at my dealer about 2 weeks ago. Jeep said the paperwork to complete the deal won’t be complete for another 2 weeks or so from now. I have purchased many Jeeps and other Chrysler/.Dodge vehicles from this dealership. Based on that the dealership has let me test drive the new replacement GCL SR. With 275 miles on it, the surround view cameras stopped working. Parksense is not available and the odometer is blinking. This is frigging ridiculous, a $70K vehicle with 275 miles having these problems?
I’m done. I will eventually get this piece of crap identified as a lemon per NC lemon laws. When I do I will cash out of Jeep and go buy a Tahoe.

Thanks for letting us know, I guess? The new Tahoe is a piece of trash - as are many new vehicles being made in 2021+. Enjoy your new engine and transmission problems in the 2021+ Tahoe as well as reduced ground clearance and price markups.

Maybe I’ll just go buy a restored 55 Chevy or something

I'm sorry to hear this :( I am hoping that most of the issues that the '21 owners reported are or are going to be fixed. I'm overall really happy with my new SR, but I only have a little over 200 miles and some things have been quirky, but nothing super bad yet. Fingers crossed.

I couldn’t agree with you more about this GCL pos. This is my first and last Jeep product. That said I’m not sure a Tahoe is the answer. My Jeep is gone once I have time to research it’s replacement.

My issue with this vehicle is not the issues just the fact that the Stealership doesn’t know where or how to address them.

I believe every dealer has the same issue right now, I wouldn't really blame Jeep now - talking about the replacement.

Nowadays dealerships sucks because they know they will sell everything they have, so they dont care. Hopefully it will get back to them shortly.

The problem here is that this is his MY22 replacement on his MY21 buyback -- and from what he said, the dealership let him drive his MY22 SR in good faith, and within the first tank of gas it already started having problems.

Why be such an ass? What’s with that stupid graphic?
It's called trolling. It's what happens when someone has nothing to contribute to the conversation or they just want attention. They download a meme after a 2 second Google search in an attempt to, be funny (failed), get some likes, or just be relevant. Just ignore the trolls.

Could also be Jeep. I've seen some of these posts start to have irrelevant backlash from random people recently. Perhaps the brand is trying to cover up their massive pile of crap of a product launch.

Either way, it's good that you share your experience with the vehicle so that others maybe avoid the same issues. It's also certainly ok to vent your frustration. I've had people reach out to me directly on here after some of my posts and we've definitely helped each other. The forum is designed to connect people and help each other. Which is what your doing.

Again, ignore the trolls. Do your thing and thanks for the post.

I agree post something yesterday about being lied to by the dealer among other issues and first response was basically my fault for picking a shitty dealer.

This is my fear! I too had to go thru arbitration on my 21 GCL SR. Same problems, SOS, park assist, cameras going out! Shorting out Uconnect and all lights go out and wipers come on.

Ordered a replacement 22 and its scheduled to deliver this week. So scared it gonna be another lemon! Also, Jeep hasnt formally given me the $ amount on the repurchase, but I can assume it based on lemon law in Michigan. Problem is they are expecting me to buy a second Jeep before the 1st is repurchased!

Strongly considering not taking this Jeep at all....

Walk away they still do not have it figured out too many issues they fix one issue something else stops working.
