Phone Ring Volume

When receiving a phone call, the ring volume is extremely loud. As far as I can find, the ring volume is the same volume level as the phone call. If I adjust the volume while ringing, it turns the volume down but also turns down the call volume. Then, during call I turn the volume back up to hear the call and the next call the ring is loud again. Going into the audio settings and volume adjustments there is not an option for ring volume. I also have a 2021 Grand Wagoneer and a 2022 Ram and in the audio settings and volume adjustments there is an option for ring volume. My neighbor just purchased a 2022 Pacifica Pinnacle and it has the same issue as the Jeep. Anyone else experiencing this and found a fix or workaround?

On my 2019 Jeeep GC, the volume for the music/unconnect, Siri, incoming ring all had to be adjusted while that item is currently in operation.

For example, if your music is low and you have an incoming call, turn the volume down while the incoming call is occurring. Next time it rings, it should be lower.

Whenever I would have uconnect give me directions, I would have to turn it up when it was actively speaking otherwise I couldn’t change the volume of the voice anywhere else. I don’t know if that makes sense.

Same with WAZE alerts, but I found in my previous car how to change it's alert volume and it looks to have carried over. So it's a WAZE app setting. But yeah, the phone ring is on super loud.

Here you go: Go to Audio, Audio Settings. Volume, AUDIO ADJUSTMENT, Phone.

That adjusts the volume of the ring tone and phone call together, not each independently.
What Trim do you have?
I can adjust these two independently, also Media, Voice Recognition and Navigation.

Interesting, I have a 2021 limited, just had the most recent update installed, don’t have the separate volume control for phone ring and phone call

Same here. Don’t see separate call and ring levels on my limited. It’s so very annoying. Why would jeep have those options different for different trims. It makes no sense why they would combine the ring and call volume option in the limited! Please fix it! This and the three honks

You’re so lucky. @JeepCares can you please update the limited to have separate call and ring volume setting like it’s on the overland!?

Those were the very first batches
The only thing I can comment and is total speculation, is that updates of the software over the air are not entirely the same for 2021 early models.
My Overland is 2022.
I guess the different model year is the difference. I'm surprised mine was among the first built. I didn't buy it until October.
