Permanently Disabling Auto Stop/Start?

Some tuner could make a killing by just enabling a memory setting so it doesn't reset with the ignition. Mine made it through during the temporary supply problem so I don't have that 'feature' thank God, but I'd pay dearly to turn off the stability control and the stupid loud horn honking thing when you close the driver door with the motor running.

I would imagine there will be an aftermarket solution at some point.

Ha maybe I'm lucky, 800 miles in and the auto start stop has never worked, permanently in a "not ready" state.
Debating whether to tell the dealer about it or not when I bring it in for recalls.
In my case, the vehicle is with 3k miles. I had some issues with the sound of my stereo (no more sound), went to the dealer and they made hard reset and my stop/start is now always not ready. So frustrating. Too many issues.

Mine didn’t shut off once in the first 4 months of owning it. I figured it didn’t work and was very happy about it. Then about a month ago it shut off and not shuts off when the parameters are right. It’s certainly not as active as was in my 19 WK2 Limited X. On the 19 it would shut off at every single stop.

I just make it a point to hit the button as soon as I get in now.

I truly hate this start stop feature !!!!
