Over the air update and home Wi-Fi connection

I have a '21 JGL Limited. To my knowledge, I've never received an over the air update. I'm currently at build FCA-MY21.R17.99-PROD. I received this update when at the dealer for another issue a couple months ago. Is there a more current build? I have a few minor quirks with the system...but nothing major.

Also, on the Wi-Fi connection screen, my home wifi always says "Connect...". Is this what everyone else's says...or does it ever say "Connected"? Just curious.

I have the same thing where Wi-Fi connection is uncertain if it is connected..,or connecting. And then nothing else moves or changes or anything.

I assume it's connected because it accepts my home wifi password. However, since all I ever see is "Connect..." I'm beginning to question if that means connecting or connected.

I'd love to hear a few more comments on what they see on their screen.

At the dealer for service and asked if they would update to this version. Was told sure then told that my 21 Overland has no software update. I asked if they would put the new version on a thumb drive and I load it. Was told they have to link it to a specific vin #. Know i know that’s not true as i had a 2020 summit and asked the service manager once and he gave me a thumb drive that he had a few laying around with an updated verdion. While getting service, they gave me a loaner with the updated version; radio and features seemed to run smoother.
My issue is that i have no Wifi working and was told that over the air update wont happen with out wifi. How true that is who knows. I wish they would just put the version out there regardless of vin specific. Any advise on how to get the tech to download it on a thumb drive would be appreciated. Any advise on how to format a thumb drive to accept the version if i can get the service writer to put it on a thumb drive i give them. Fyi, was told that a thumb drive needs to be formatted a certain way, hence the question.

Im hoping that updating to this new version my solve some of my radio and features issues..

That looks like an update for a 2022 vehicle.

That version is for a model year 2022 truck. It wont work/load on your car. Over the air updates will come from the cellular signal that the vehicle has, not necessarily WIFI
