Opinion on the AC

We’ve had our 2021 GCL for about 2 weeks with daily temps over 100 degrees. The AC seems “ok” to me but not as strong as I’ve had in other cars. One of my kids complained that the 3rd row takes a while to cool down and doesn’t blow real hard, even on Max AC. What are your experiences?

I agree. I used to keep the A/C set at 68-70 in my GC, but I’ve found I need to set it at 64 to be comfortable in my GCL on a 90 degree plus day.
I don’t know about the third row because I’ve yet to have anyone back there.

I agree that the ac is not super cold. Additionally, I find that the fan is a bit loud even at the lower settings like 1 and 2. I am accustomed to the fan being virtually silent at those settings in other cars. Is anyone else noticing this?
I've noticed the same. Seems like the front vents are too small.

Mine seems to work fine. I had a 2017 maxima platinum that I kept set at 69 *giggity*. And it never felt overly cool. 71 in the gcl feels great to me

I think it's the rear blower that's loud above the 2 speed. The front blowers get loud once you hit about 5 speed.

The second row and third row does not blow very hard at all even on the highest setting. The a/c is only loud when the rear a/c is on. Turn off the rear a/c or at least turn it down and the a/c upfront isn’t loud at all.

just out of curiosity are you guys that notice this problem running any type of window tint other than factory? I feel the same way and was assuming it was due to lack of tint.

I have the factory tint but am thinking about adding some after market tint for this reason.

I have to put it all the way on high for it to really push out good. Not sure if its a design or computer issue setting that can be adjusted to even out through the speeds better.

Something I do notice on mine.. it was 70 out last night. I had AC off and temp turned to LO and heat still came out the vents. Not sure that is even normal.

Summit Reserve here. All of the same crappy AC concerns as above. Had every window tinted, including windshield and sunroof, with heat rejection ceramic tint. It is marginally better but still not what I would call "cool". Granted, it has black exterior/tupelo interior and we live in SC, but it still kinda sucks. I doubt any software updates will correct this and the small vents/loud motors are not going anywhere. I suppose we will have to live with it.
