I’d be very interested to hear if these actually work and if they arrive (ive been told they’re backordered for months). Please post the part number if they do! I gave up after multiple attempts with “OEM” sensors and found a sweet set of Chinese valve caps with TPMS built in lol
The TPMS sensors actually came in. Took about a week and a half and not a few days like I was told originally, but they came in just in time! Wheels and tires are being mounted tomorrow.

CAnt wait to hear whether TPMS work. If they do, PLEASE ask them what they did to activate/link/sync them up to your jeep and what device they used to do it (if any).

Thanks!

The tpms system in jeeps is auto learn. There isn't a activate/link process. If they are programmed correctly they will just work. Tire shops right now don't have tpms sensors for the GCL so you either need OEM jeep sensors or programmable sensors. OEM replacements from aftermarket brands probably won't work.

They better work, lol. They should sync with the jeep after a couple of miles. I’ll let you know how it goes.

No TPMS errors! Even after the new tires and wheels were mounted, there were no errors. I just set the tire pressure display and drove around and after about a mile the tire pressure adjusted to what the new tires were inflated to. Stock wheels had around 2psi more and i saw all 4 change as I was driving.

So i previously bought those exact same TPMS (P/N 29057) as PB617 but no luck. Perhaps they weren’t programmed correctly as you mention?

Glad to hear it man. Did you get them locally or online somewhere?

You listed a different number. How is 29057 the same as 68339096ab? The Schrader 29057 isn't even the right frequency for the GCL. You need 433mhz not 315mhz.

Ahhh yes they do seem to match up on some websites. I wonder why sometimes it shows 314mhz and others show 433mhz.

Why didn't yours work? What frequency are they?
No idea as to either question lol. I wish they gave us the exact build day in June so I could tell for sure which one i need.

I just called up my local dealer where I got my jeep and told them I needed TPMS for a 21' JGC L and they ordered them.
I tried to order some yesterday, no go infinite backorder apparently. I guess i'm going to look into getting the schrader part numbers

that's the route i went with no luck. If you have better luck, please let us know!
What was the build date for your GCL? You mentioned that it was some time in june, did you ever figure out when the cut off date was for old sensor version vs the new sensor version? I wonder what part number shows up if you use your VIN to look up the TPMS. I'm disappointed to see the 29057 didn't end up working out for you.

All i know is June '21. I think the part # changes whether it's built before 6/4 or 6/5.
I spoke with Schrader and they said that the 29057 sensor didn't match their database to fit the 2021 GCL. They also said their ez sensors have not been updated so the only option seems to be oem.

That’s consistent with my real world experience too. Thanks for posting up!

Damn, sorry to hear. My JGC L is a 9/21 build. I just saw above that the sensors change for later builds. Seems like the later builds with the different sensors are not back ordered...at least when i ordered mine back in Novemeber.

I have called 2 dealers and 2 online parts sellers. It's currently impossible to get the OEM TPMS
