No connectivity from Uconnect 5 - Resolved

My new Jeep couldn't use any of the Uconnect features that required a cellular connection. The Assist/SOS buttons did nothing on the rear view mirror and all the apps that required a connection (Activate, Assist, SOS, Wi-Fi, and my SiriusXM account preferences) would show an error message "Data unavailable," "SOS not functional, visit a dealership," "Unable to connect," etc. I opened a support request with Jeep Connect and they were able to resolve the issue for me remotely after a few days. Two things to be aware of: Jeep Grand Cherokee L connected services are managed by Jeep Connect, NOT by SiriusXM Guardian. The first Jeep Cares support person I spoke to sent me over the SiriusXM Guardian and I wasted a week trying to get that to work which had nothing to do with my problem and certainly didn't fix it. Second, the iPhone app for the GC L is just called "JEEP" with a black "Jeep" icon. The Uconnect app will not work with the GC L. Oddly enough, because my car was never able to transmit its GPS via the cellular connection it showed my car was in China! Cheers to the Jeep Connect support people who seemed on top of things once I got connected to their team.

I have a simil,ar problem that the dealer and Stellantis have been unable to resolve. Do you know exactly what was done to fix your vehicle? Thank you

Im having connection issues still to this day. I experienced the jeep people telling me to talk to Sirius Xm before they pointed me in the right direction. Horrible service all around!
 
I started getting internet connect errors, and please come back later errors. It hasn't affected anything that I can tell, but still annoying. Who did you reach out to? Was it just the dealership?

I have had the same problem since first day of ownership. Can you ask your dealer what was done to resolve this issue? My dealer and the support services have worked on this diligently for several months but with no success. Thank you

Same situation here!!! No one’s seems to be able to help!!! Everytime I try to activate my services it keeps getting errors have occurred please try again message, very frustrating, My screen is missing Alexa and weather app and the jeep app on my phone don’t show vehicle health or fuel percentage
