Hour 2 of a 3 hour drive and the vehicle threw an alert that the key fob left the vehicle. As you can see…I’m driving and the fob is clearly in the vehicle. Anyone experience this before?

That’s the message you get right before the vehicle module dies and it strands you. Be alert when it shuts off at highway speeds. The good news is that Jeep doesn’t install steering wheel locks anymore.

Is yours a 2021 or 2022?
It just happened recently on my 2021 Overland, I dropped off my son at school, when he exited the car from the Passenger front door, the message appeared although the key was in my pocket and I continued to drive it later.
