New Grand Cherokee L Limited

Having taken delivery of a 2022 Grand Cherokee L Limited three weeks ago and leaving the next day for a 1600 mile trip to Florida, we are just getting to try out the features. This is aour 10th Jeep since 1991 and each one was better than the one before. We are somewhat disappointed in this GC L as features we have had in past Jeeps were not on this $52,000+ vehicle. We noticed that the auto dimming rear view mirror, speed sensitive windshield wipers and polished alloy wheels were not part of the standard equipment. Also, the Jeep has dual exhausts but there are no chrome tips on them. The vehicle rides and performs beautifully, but the lack of the afore mentioned items makes it fee lacking in features.

Auto-dimming mirror is standard on Overland and Summit.

Wipers are speed sensitive on Laredo, Limited, and Trailhawk, and rain-sensing on Overland and Summit (and on Laredo, Limited, and Trailhawk with Lux Tech Group package, and on Laredo with Altitude package).

Polished aluminum wheels are an option on Limited; they’re standard on Trailhawk, Overland with Off-Road package, and Summit. (Overland without Off-Road and Summit Reserve get machined cast aluminum instead.)

Er, that was for non-L models. For L:

Auto-dimming mirror is standard on Limited, Overland and Summit.

Wipers are speed-sensitive on Laredo and Limited, and rain-sensing on Overland and Summit, and on Laredo and Limited with Lux Tech Group.

Wheels are more complicated—every trim level is different. They’re polished only on Summit with Off-Road Group.

So you should actually have two of those three features.
