I ordered my new jeep the last week of September and it finally arrived the first week of February. It looks and drives great but I wondered why the factory mud guards on the rear of the vehicle are not as wide as the tire itself. It would seem that a portion of the stuff coming off the rear tires would miss the mud flap completely. Does anyone know why Jeep decided to make the mud flaps narrower than the tire. In fact these OEM mud flaps are narrower than my wife's 2020 Cherokee OEM mud flaps.
