Where did you put the tape?
At the ceiling panel rattle, I cut a pice about 3” long and folded it to where it was 1” long, and stuffed it with a pick tool at a connection point just behind the driver side seat. The ceiling panel doesn’t move anymore, so hopefully it doesn’t rattle. At the driver-side rear door, I took 4 1” long pieces and put two right under the grey trim under the fake wood panel, on the hinge side. Also put some where the black plastic window trim meets the weatherstripping around the same area.
At the dashboard, to the left of the steering wheel, I put a piece under the dash pad and the right side of the a/c vent (nearest the gauge cluster screen, a piece under the vent where it overhangs the wood look plastic panel, and then a piece at the light grey plastic piece that gets concealed when the door is closed.
These are the most annoying rattles that drove me crazy. Let me know if you need me to post pictures. I can do that tomorrow

Do you think that they skipped some fasteners on the assembly line? That's horrible.

I received a call from Jeep today about my complaint, walked them through the fact I have now gone to three dealerships. They then asked if I could go to a different dealership, I said at this point I would like to be out of this vehicle, and I don’t feel like I should be the one to take a financial hit; and would like to discuss a buy back. She then responded, “I will make that note, and you will hear from someone from that department in the next few days.”

…so they have a buyback department??? I don’t think I will actually get anywhere, but I will keep everyone posted. I just want to be done.

Who knows. I have placed the tape where the rattles are, and everything still rattles. It’s maddening.
I raised mine to Offroad 2 yesterday in the driveway so I could look around my driver kick panel - there were all kinds of groans and sounds I've never heard before from the rear going up :( It worked ok but didn't sound great.

Sorry to hear about all of your issues. We picked our Overland up in October 21 which was built in August 21. Screen had to be replaced within days of leaving the lot, the fuel pump failed just under 1k miles and took a week to resolve and now we're hearing some squeaking in the headliner so that's what had me look around here. Other than those 3, it's been pretty good but we're not doing much other than scooting kids to and from houses/grocery stores. I did raise mine to Offroad 2 a few months ago when we had a bunch of snow here in Michigan and I heard a groan and a pop but has been driving fine so I just assumed it had to do with it being so cold/something froze up.

I haven't had any issues with it since that day, so fingers crossed... There were some reports that the right rear airbag was prone to failure due to some placement issues, but I looked at it and it appeared to be ok... It may have been muddy or something from when I had it off road....

I’m taking it to another dealership on Monday morning. If I am told things are “normal” or cannot be duplicated one more time, I’m getting rid of it. I will be driving it with the service manager or this dealership, so I can point out everything. There will be no way they can claim something was not duplicated.

Make a video of the problems happening as best you can before hand. Then video your test drive with the service manager. Some states are two party consent states, requiring you to notify the other person they're being recorded, some do not require notice.

If your state allows you to record without notice, just make an audio recording in the event he agrees there is a problem or notices the things you're trying to point out. Don't break the law, though, as then it's inadmissible for lemon law purposes.

Well, Jeep denied my buyback request for the second time. So I will continue with the lemon-law process. I gave them two opportunities to make this right. Now they will have to buy it back and pay attorney’s fees. I meet all requirements in the State of Tennessee

Update: purchasing dealership (2 hours away). Told me they couldn’t duplicate ANYTHING. This is laughable, as all of my issues occur EVERY time I drive. It’s like they’re being told by FCA to tell people they can’t duplicate intentionally. Unbelievably frustrated. I told them to keep driving it, and if by next Wednesday they’re telling me the same crap, I’m done with this vehicle.
Take a day off work and go along on the diagnostic ride. They can't deny experiencing your issues with the vehicle if you're their with them when it occurs.

Already done that. The latest trip dealer did what manufacturer allowed. Still didn’t fix. This dealership is now refusing me service because they have not been reimbursed by manufacturer. The “repair” was done 45 days ago.
