Memory seats

Does anyone’s memory seats work properly on both profiles … every time ?

Also has anyone had issues with the memory seats and actually got them repaired via TSB, software update, etc? If so could you please share that fix.

And finally is anyone else having sporadic issues with the lumbar control switch?

thanks

Look at the reply from @JeepCares. Very contradicting

  • Your vehicle is equipped with two key fobs, each can be linked to either driver’s side memory position 1 or 2.
  • Front passenger memory settings cannot be linked to a key fob.

Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately mine was built after June which makes this TSB useless to me, sigh.

if you don’t mind me asking what is your plan of action for this issue. I ask because the dealer asks that I take the car and leave it a few days. What’s the point of this inconvenience if there is no known fix at this point, duh.

I would guess that we’ve linked both key fobs 50 times or more without establishing permanent memory. Might or might not work but ultimately it always fails in the manner previously outlined .
Very frustrating to sorta jump in and realize it’s set for a 100 lb wife after tearing off a 1/4 inch of hide in the process. Sigh.

Not contradicting at all. The keyfob linking is for the driver seat only. The passenger still has to press the appropriate button for that memory seat.

I never thought it was for the passenger seat so don’t know why that was mentioned. 2 fobs for 2 settings on driver seat
