Loose driveshaft seal - everyone check!

Hey guys anyone notice what appears to be a loose bearing seal of some kind on the driveshaft (close to rear-middle of truck)? No oil/grease thrown around and no noises of any kind. Just happened to be under the truck looking for skid plate mounting threads and noticed it.

Is that on a V6 or V8? Looks almost like the plastic sheared off. No noises or signs of the situation when driving?

I'd get that thing in to get looked at. Mine is completely intact.

Just so happens ive got an appt for my last freebie oil chg for 4/7 so ill be continuing the weekend wheeling until then haha
