Hi interested in getting a new 21 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Will probably have to order one. Anyone order one and had a good experience at a dealer? Get any discounts from a dealer? I’m located in South Florida.

No one has successfully ordered one all the way to receiving one.. yet. None are on the lots.
There are a few people, including myself who have an order in process. I did provide a down payment.

I think that summarizes it for now.

I understand no one actually has one. But many have placed orders. I’m looking for dealers who people have had an easy time ordering and who perhaps gave them good deals on their order.

I placed an order that was easy but negotiating price was “at invoice”. Depending on when it arrives and the demand they might not honor that. The FCA affiliate pricing does not currently have the GCL on the list due to no dealers having them. If it gets added there then that will be 1% under invoice but that can’t be confirmed yet.

ok. so my dealer did show me the discount pricing, and I have affiliate pricing also.. They wouldnt negotiate beyond that.
I did have another dealer tell me they would only sell at list.

What’s “discount” pricing and what’s “affiliate” thank you!

Some companies partner with FCA (now Stellantis) to offer discounts on new purchases: https://www.fcausaffiliates.com/
There is also employee friends and family programs if you know someone who works at FCA.
If you are not part of a company that is an FCA affiliate, I was not, there is a way to get affiliate pricing but that is still not confirmed as being available. I have signed up to support TreadLightly and they provide you access to Affiliate pricing after 30 days of membership. Again, it is yet to be confirmed that affiliate pricing will be available. There are already exceptions for most new models in the small print at the bottom of the affiliate page. To me it was worth the $100 to support the TreadLightly organization and as a bonus if the Affiliate code works then that is even better.

That doesn’t sound like something legit.
You have to be an employee of the company that is part of the Affiliate program. You even have to bring a control number, your pay stub and your company badge to get the discount at the dealer.

It is legit and you have to bring your membership letter to your dealer with the control number generated on the FCAAffiliate website. It isn’t employee pricing it is an organization that has an affiliate relationship with FCA. Their website is: https://treadlightly.org/

I have attached a screenshot of the FCA affiliate site confirming their legitimacy. Feel free to search the company name yourself.

it is legit. And that employee who frauded the company was the one who used it illegitimately, granting access to the program outside the proper affiliation. if you also dig into the article, you will see that he scammed dealers out of legit numbers, and also took kickbacks.

Last I talked to the FCA affiliate folks, they said that the L was not on the exclusions list, just the wrangler 4xe.

My dealer was very easy to work with, however I am paying invoice price. He said there is so much interest they are not going to have a problem getting people to pay the price. I live in Ohio, by the way. I went to more than one dealer and basically got the same answer about this from all of them. No one in my area is negotiating price right now.

Hello, does any one have a copy of invoice price list (FWP vs MSRP per option)? Apologies if already posted (can't seem to find). Thanks in advance!
