Leaking sunroof

I have 21 Jeep Cherokee L last week we had 2 days of heavy rain ending on Friday. Saturday, I had to run an errand and notice water dripping out of headliner by where sun glass holder is located.
later while I was out and made a sharp right and water poured out. I checked the sunroof, and it was fully closed. The truck was purchased in late December and never noticed issues before anyone else.

Open the sunroof and check for drain holes on both left and right. Sometimes they get clogged with dirt.

Pour some water and look for dripping by the front wheels. If you don't see any water on the ground you may have to blow some air in the holes to open them up.

If you do see water, then it may be other issues. Sometimes the drain tubes get disconnected inside the trim and so you may need to do some detective work.

I had similar issue with 2014WK. The drain tubes were twisted and not draining as they should and water would do exactly that, go everywhere inside when cornering. When they did drain it sounded like an old time percolating coffee pot! so either stopped up or not installed correctly would be my guess

Reason #1 why I dont buy with the sunroof option. Not saying that ithey shouldnt be working properly, though.
