it has been 2 months since jeep told me that I would be getting a software update for our 21 Overland to fix the issues i am having with the uconnect, connected services, traffic, hud, and the navigation in the dash. I called them today, gave my vin AND case number then this lady told me, "Your premium vehicle does not come equipped with tom tom, navigation, traffic, hud, and display of speed limit sign. I told her that i found that very humorous because I used the navigation last night while in new Orleans before heading home and the hud was working perfectly fine when i took the kids to school this morning. So, go check your systems again. She sighed and then I could hear her typing. She came back and said the same script again. I am over knowing i paid for a "premium vehicle" but things dont work at all that i paid for. I am sure some people will see that as petty because the vehicle itself works, but knowing that there is a 3k feature paid for that doesn't even work right, then they say my vehicle shouldn't have any of it.....its absurd.

@JeepCares ready to buy back this vehicle? Do you really care?

I actually called jeep cares and opened a lemon ale claim this morning. Fed up with wondering if the car will work properly every time I get in. Now my car won’t turn on the hotspot. SOS call box isn’t working and the assist button isn’t working. When CarPlay is connected the audio from Nav won’t work. I’m randomly getting the active lab management popping up. Allegedly the dealer fixed the high beam recall yet they still don’t work. So we will see how this goes. Every time I get in the car I just get stressed cause half the shit never works.

Yeah my wife told me tonight she just doesn’t want to hear about it anymore. She’s over it.

Same boat. My dealer offered to take mine in on trade for what I paid for it and order a new one, so I'm working with one of their upper 'Customer Cares' people to work out a deal on a replacement (price concessions and 'no deletions', basically). Some people don't seem to have any problems, and we're basically all running the same software, which leads me to speculate some of us have a defective module somewhere in the bus system that's causing all these random problems.

They replaced my Uconnect 'guts' and brought much of that back to life, but there's still all sorts of very random, hard to duplicate on command (for the tech) electrical issues, in addition to all my HVAC issues, my speaker rattles, Wireless CarPlay doesn't work, wired sometimes works, BT still dead, etc etc. I can't get it to connect to my home wifi, and haven't even tried my hotspot.

In my case, Jeep gets to avoid a branded-title-buyback with this route, and they still stay in the black on both purchases, so it seems like something will get worked out (otherwise the lemon route will probably cost them ~$30k+).

I really like the vehicle, in theory, but with roughly $80k in cash dumped into this, it needs to be much, much better. I hope the next one will be better sorted. I was expecting some first model year issues, but this is just totally out of hand.
