Key Fob Phobia

I brought home a new 2022 WL75 Overland last week and am suffering from fear of my key fob bricking my vehicle after reading about the issues, especially since I travel and camp in remote locations.

From what I have read there is no recall and I have to rely on my dealer to call me if there is an issue with my vehicle. Is that accurate?

Someone posted that it should show up in your jeep app with a warning if your vehicle is affected.

It is an acknowledged issue, enough to prompt a stop sale. Your dealer should at least have instructions if not parts.
I am dealing with issue now, just told it is a hardware issue and my jeep will be down until end of March, as the part won’t be available until end of March. Tough news

Wow, I trust they provide you with a free rental for that duration.

I got a rental free of charge, dealership is first class, I actually was on phone with the Service manager, and he spoke with a district service manager and they got the module released and sent off today, another car is down, they should have me fixed this weekend or early next week.

Anyone figure out if there is a VIN list? A TSB that describes what it might apply to? From the article, it simply says that Ford will provide a fix for customers that have the problem, which seems to indicate after they have the failure and are stranded.
