Jeep Grand Cherokee L order status updates….

Ordered my 2022 Overland on 12/21 and got a VIN the next day. Dealer told me expect 8-12 weeks but many have been completed and delivered around 9-10. Can’t wait!!

I also have a 2021 GCL Limited. I’ve owned over 50 new vehicles in my life and these are by far 2 of the best I ever had. Fit, finish, driving are way better than I ever expected. My 6 year old granddaughter got in it at the dealer and begged me to buy it. The rear facing family camera is a must have if you have kids or grandchildren. Our 16 month old grandson was choking on a piece of candy and I would have never known without it. Definitely a life saver.

Thank the good Lord above your grandson was ok! Glad you like it I’ve seen different things on here about the fit and finish I’m still waiting on mine. It’s nice to hear something positive about those things.

Checked with dealer just now (12/22) and my '22 GCL SR V8 is on the train to California and past Elk, NV at 3 am this morning and ETA is still 12/23-1/4. Order on 11/6.

Checked with dealership today (12/27) and my '22 GCL SR V8 was unloaded from the railcar yesterday 12/26 in Benicia, CA (about 4 hour car right to the north of me). Hopefully they can get it on a truck and shipped to my dealership in the next couple of days. ETA to dealership is now 12/26-1/4.

Does anyone have a 22 SR V6 that has made it to D1? Seems like all the orders that are getting scheduled ar SR V8s or lower trims.

Ordered a 22 SR V6 (replacement for our 21) on November 20th and just get "parts are still being scheduled" from Jeep chat. Was told two weeks ago to check back at the end of week for estimated build date and nothing.

I agree with you. Ordered mine 11/22 and same status after 5 weeks. I wonder if there is a problem??

Same story here -- D since mid October. After looking at what inventory is out there based on the Inventory Search on the Jeep website, it seems there are no V6 SRs getting built (there's only 1 i can find anywhere close to me that's been built). All the other SRs are V8 in 2-row and 3-row. My suspicion is they have limited parts (maybe the air suspension / front passenger screen?) and they are prioritizing the builds where they'll make the most money with the limited parts they have. This is a total guess but seems to be a pattern.

I ordered my 22 with side steps and it took 10 weeks, it was delivered on 12/23 just in time for Christmas.

@Dano how long was yours at the body vendor getting the sidesteps installed?

so went back to the dealer today.. looking for my VON at least, i was there on the 22nd was told order was in after some conversation I watched him re order my 22 LGC summit R with V8 .. so here we go again hopefully I get a VIN soon so jeep chat and I can get our relationship back on track... settled on $70,500, $3900 off MSRP

Picked up my 21 GCL SR bench seat V6 two tone silver/black today! Finally! Ordered 8/10!! Worth the wait! Figured it was built 12/2/21. Same time as the 22’s were coming out. Drove from cape to boston etc today! Absolutely love it! The V6 seems stong. Stonger than the V6 in my 17 GC summit

Got VIN pretty quickly within the next 2 weeks.
In D since Oct 22nd.
11/19: All materials needed have been received.
11/26: D1, Ship date 12/9
12/7: being built, in frame
12/10: Build sheet available today! At body vendors.
12/14: In shipping status, no dealer ETA.
12/16: Window Sticker avail
12/27: KZP, at vendor, awaiting shipping, no ETA.

Delivery window keeps moving when the next day comes. Yesterday it was 12/28 - 1/6, now today it's 12/29 - 1/6. It's been doing that since the first window of 12/21 - 1/6. I hope to get it next week. The dealership said that they expect a truck next week as well, but don't know for sure.
