And I'm still waiting for my 2021 that I ordered in July.
I gave up on my '21 coming any time soon (also ordered in July). I ordered a '22 last week and they're already gathering parts for build. Hoping I have better luck this time around. I'm thinking something happened in the Budd yard with a few of these '21's that nobody seems to want to track down for those of us still waiting.

Ordered 2021 GCL Summit Reserve white/black top w/ tan interior on 8/16
built mid Nov and delivered to dealer 12/22
I have the v6 with air suspension but no side Steps but all other options
stickered MSRP at $67,120

inititial thoughts best suv I have ever owned. The fit , finish , ride , interior quality and technology is unbelievable FOR THE MONEY .I have owned Lexus suv, VW Touareg , Ford Explorer , 3 Chevy suburbans and currently have a 2017 Chevy Tahoe premier. This will by my DD replacing my wife’s 2016 Chevy suburban LTZ as she got the Tahoe for her DD.
The GCL summit trim is way underpriced IMO. The Macintosh audio is leaps better than most of the competition even at higher pricing including meridian audio system in the Range Rover.

I did get the 8yr/125,000 mile factory mopar major care ( 5000+ parts) extended warranty for $2950 with $100 deductible From online mopar extended warranty vendor . Dealer was $3600 for the same warranty

one item I am looking for assistance on from the forum. The exceeding speed limit chime is on and so far I can’t find in the manual on how to deactivate it in uconnect 5 system. This is very annoying and distracting.

cheers

Beautiful Jeep! Looks exactly like my order, but ordered mine black leather.
So the McIntosh system is really that impressive?
I was definitely hoping it is.
Again damn nice looking Jeep!

The Macintosh delivers as advertised and more . even if you are not a serious audiophile you will notice the difference immediately. the lower frequencies and base do not distort even at unsafe volumes. the spatial separation of the instruments and voices is like nothing I have ever heard . Close friend in NJ who has a Range Rover sport with the highly touted meridian audio system ordered a 2021 summit GCL purely on my recommendation and reviews on you tube and online Of McIntosh audio in Jeep . And Chrysler is keeping it fir now only in 3 vehicles at the highest trim level : GCL Summit , Grand Wagoneer and Pacifica ( Top Trim).

here is an excellent discussion with the Mcintosh CEO about the development and pitch to Chrysler.

I have seen few posts calling out NO side steps? Is a build with side steps known to cause delays? I have the black side steps in my order and wondering if I did the wrong thing 🤔

I ordered my 22 with side steps and it took 10 weeks, it was delivered on 12/23 just in time for Christmas.

That’s awesome.. they told me 10 to 12 weeks which am fine with.. also if you don’t mind, how’s your experience so far with the ‘22?
I also have a 2021 GCL Limited. I’ve owned over 50 new vehicles in my life and these are by far 2 of the best I ever had. Fit, finish, driving are way better than I ever expected. My 6 year old granddaughter got in it at the dealer and begged me to buy it. The rear facing family camera is a must have if you have kids or grandchildren. Our 16 month old grandson was choking on a piece of candy and I would have never known without it. Definitely a life saver.
