Well thanks JWC

I think I have had more second thoughts about the GC purchase than any of the 25 plus vehicles I've owned over the last 48 years, and I haven't even driven it one mile yet. :/

I know the feeling my friend.. I read these post with skepticism for many are just disgruntled and most never post the good. Ironically I had taken delivery of my GCL on Saturday, Monday it turned into a Brick. I no longer own it. Shortest vehicle I ever owned and like you, I have had way to many in my 48 years as well.

Congrats on your Jeep! Don't get caught up in all the negative hype. I've had my SR V8 for over a month and 2500 miles in, I couldn't identify anything to complain about if I had to. It's still early and I'm sure things will pop up eventually, but I was pleasantly surprised with how put together this vehicle is after having some of the same second thoughts.

My 2022 fully loaded Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve arrived at the dealer today. Going to pick it up tomorrow, hope I got a great, trouble free one.
Everything is going to be ok, every new vehicle that is all new is going to have bugs, but the good thing is it can be fixed. :) ITS HERE and I'm soooo happy it arrived for you. People have been waiting so that's a plus that you got yours. Cant wait to see pictures:love:

Great drive home yesterday. Contacted Sirius to move old subscription over to the new vehicle and ordered a local toll tag. Now I just have to get all the settings the way I like. Still shopping for the MVP plan at the best price.

Unfortunately, pics will have to wait for better weather, drizzel/light rain predicted all day today and tomorrow.

Great! Still waiting on mine. 26 days in holding lot, dealership rep has "hot tagged" it twice. Have fun.

Hope all is going well with your gc. Still awaiting delivery to dealer. Its lost in holding yard in Detroit. No answers. # 1 dealer rated in mich has now involved #3 rep from Chrysler. The bodies are beginning to stack up. But 192 days since order I am not going to let anyone else get it.

Night vision is definitely something I am testing out. I drove several miles with it as the active screen and it worked as described. In fact it picked up movement that I had not seen as the person was wearing dark clothes and pushing a bike on the berm. I had seen a glaze of a reflection but the yellow night vision block pointed it out clearly. It appears to work with headlights on As it flipped to it in the early morning as I was driving in the rain. Also be aware the sensor is upper left drivers side in the grill And does have a washer for when it gets dirty.
