Did a little more research on the Timberline definitely right, leads me just The GMC Acadia At4 or The Bronco Sport, which reasonably is in a different segment.2021-ford-bronco-sport-badlands-front-quarter-wide.jpg2020-GMC-Acadia-AT4-1.jpg

first of all explorer is a comp to the GCL in size and mission. So going to skip comparo with the 2 row as that will be a cut above in any QT2+ config just due to better maneuverability.
Focusing on its primary competitor, Timberline sits behind the GCL overland off road pack in capability, the eLSD (while on hold for the moment) sets the GCL apart... the timberline is probably more closely aligned with the standard limited/overland/summit capabilities.

i suppose the major advantage on the Ford side is the engine. Modern twin turbo v6 with more power than the hemi
