Is it possible to turn off the 3 loud reminders that you have the key on you when you exit your Jeep while it is running or on?

BUMP. Anyone figure this out or are we all suffering a slow, painful death by a thousand razors (or honks) haha
Yeah we are stuck with this. Jeep probably has bigger fish to fry on their board of bugs to fix. All though this is probably not a bug to them. But we at least should be given the option to turn this on or off. All it is, is code.

It seems to sound the horn at very strange times though. If I remote start it, then open the door, get in with the key on me and close the door (not locking the door), the horn then sounds 3 times. Why? Does it think I may lock the key inside. Getting in after remote starting and the horn sounding gets me odd stares from people nearby who think I don't know how to work my vehicle.
Some of those honks can be changed in the vehicle settings for remote start. The honk when getting out with the key fob while the vehicle is running is not able to be changed

One option is to leave the key fob in the car.
Makes no difference on my car. Key can be in the cupholder and it still goes HONK HONK HONK anytime I open and close the drivers door. SUPER annoying to me and very obnoxious for anyone trying to sleep nearby (imagine being in a campground, apartment/condo complex, etc).

3 horn beeps is excessive and loud. Why FCA didn’t go with a low level beep sound is beyond me. Perhaps this feature can be reprogrammed to do just that. Please JeepCares look into possible alternatives to this annoying feature.

I know this is not a great fix or anything especially if it’s raining. When you get out of the car if you let the door shut but not all the way (slight latch that would keep the door ajar indicated) it won’t beep at all if you leave with the keys.
I have found this works well, I open the driver's door and then slowly shut the door with my fingers in the way of closing and leave it very slightly open with fob in my pocket. No annoying honks and I can go about business

It should beep only if you try to Lock the doors while the key is inside the car, that's how it was on my 2018 Durango.
I also get the 3 honks after remote starts, so annoying.
Should, but that's not the way they implemented it on the new Jeep. I had the same experience with my Durango.
