HUD Info Doesn't Update

I have has numerous times where the Info on the road I'm on doesn't update in my HUD. For instance it will show I'm still on a specific road that I left a half hour earlier and have traveled on numerous new roads since. Also, ther have been instances where the HUD indicates I'. on an "UNKNOWN ROAD", even though I'm on major highways such as Route 80, or The Pa. Turnpike. Anyone else have this issue?

Yep and many more. Just NOP( normal operating procedure for this POS. Best an analogy I’ve seen compares it to a box of chocolates “ each time it’s started you never know what’s going to not work, always something different.”

Not sure if this is the same issue but a couple of times the speed limit feature did not appear after a quick stop off the highway. Once I noticed this issue after returning to the highway I pressed the NAV button which brought up the map and almost instantly the speed sign feature popped up on the HUD. It seems that the HUD is somehow connected to the NAV system.

I don't think they are connected. When I tried my Nav when HUD didn't show the proper road. The Nav displayed the correct road.

I had the HUD malfunction yesterday I.e. no speed sign and no street location. The only portion of the HUD being displayed was my speed. When I started my vehicle I had the head unit turned off and it was still off when I started driving away. I finally noticed the two items not being displayed via the HUD and decided to turn on the head unit/radio. Once I turned it on the two missing displays came on instantly. I then decided to turn the head unit off and the HUD continued to display all items. This scenario has happened several times over the last few months but Is not the norm. This is why I feel that at least the speed sign and location displays are somehow tied in to the head unit but not the speedometer portion. Perhaps a future update to the system will correct some of these “quirks” to the HUD system.
