I had seen this before somewhere but it never happened to me until i got it back from the dealer. Really annoying! Sorry if this has been asked & answered before but any help would be helpful!

It is an option in settings, I disabled it there. You are bound to run it to it just keep surfing around using the radio screen options for vehicle.

I have the sound horn with remote start set to off but it still does a 3 horn honk when i go to open the door after a remote start. Makes no sense

Anyone figure out how to disable??
As of today there is no option to disable it. Totally agree it is so annoying. Today my car even honked 3 times while the engine was OFF, I put some stuff in the trunk and then I went to the driver seat and it honked after I closed my driver's door.

Enormously annoying to everyone within ear shot (i.e. apartment/condo complex, neighborhood... late at night) and so far no way to disable it besides disconnecting your horn.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of stupid people in this world so the car makers can't diable the warning sound for the situations, e.g., people leave kids, babies, pets, etc. inside of the car for a long period of time in the confined spaces, etc. Ever year there are unfortunately fatal incidents. As such, I believe that the car makers cannot diable the warning sound completely to prevent liability issues.

I hope that Jeep can give us an option for a less-annoying sound such as one beep rather than three honks.

This is the (unfortunate) correct answer. But they REALLY need to have a different alarm sound, such as a softer 'chirp' like a lot of cars use for their alarm and unlocking systems (my BMWs have just made a nice, polite little 'chirp' for lock/unlock/etc) that uses a different 'speaker' than the horn. But adding that to the Jeep will likely have to come with a different setup, in a new model year. Regardless, the f$%&ing horn is WAY TOO LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS.

Knowing how complicated it is to change things in the Uconnect system, and how totally FUBAR my Uconnect system is, we are stuck with this obnoxious setup unless a tuner comes out with a program to kill that horrible feature.
