I posted this earlier in threads on blackout trim and paint colors, but I decided it’s worthy of its own thread.

They contradict themselves about whether High Altitude is available for three-rows, but it seems that for two-rows, at least, it’s 4xe only.

High Altitude Package > $1,495 Summit 4xe > $995 Summit Reserve 4xe
Also available on Grand Cherokee L Summit & Summit Reserve

The only reason I can think of for the price difference is that on the Summit, you’re getting an “upgrade“ from 20-inch to 21-inch wheels, while the SR already has 21-inch wheels, albeit in a different color, so that part of it is more of a “sidegrade.”

SR has cooled rear seats, speed limit displayed in the HUD, and black roof paint unless you don't want it, etc. I'm not sure if all of that is standard on the Summit vs SR.

The speed limit displayed in the HUD requires the Advanced Protech Group in both the Summit and the SR.

I was talking about the reason the High Altitude package is cheaper for the SR than the Summit, not the differences between the two trims in general.

And despite supposedly also being available in the Overland (per manual and marketing materials) when equipped with the same tech package, it seemingly only works on the Summit and SR models.
