Hard Shifts?

Hey all,

Just picked up a GCL Overland on Friday, first Jeep and really impressed with the overall look and feel of the whole vehicle.

I’ve only okay about 30 miles on it so far but yesterday driving around 30-40 mph there was a slight hesitation then clunk three times in a row. It was pronounced enough to feel it and hear the clunk. Couldn’t get it to do it again in the 10 miles back to home. Was just wondering if anyone else has experienced it and wanted to give a heads up for you guys to keep an eye out for a similar issue.

I had a surge on the way home from the dealer when I bought mine. I put it into sport mode and after my trip home it never did it again. Some were saying it was the trans going through the learning process.

There is also a softwars update via a TSB for hard shifts. THe shifting issue was initally isolated to the trans down shifting. With any new model car, there are nuances to sort out.

Sorry for my delay here. If you decide to bring your Jeep to the dealer, please let us know. We would be happy to provide an additional layer of support while there.
