They were supposed to have launched the 'new and improved' hands free driving (with the option to have it change lanes via the turn signal IIRC) by now, which uses a camera to monitor eye movement for forward attention on the road, but they still haven't done it.
I noticed my '23 SR has an option for 'drowsy driver alert', which I thought also used the same camera, but after a 2500 mile road trip last week, I can say that mine has no clue when the driver is drowsy. My wife even said she thought she fell asleep at one point while driving (middle of nowhere I-15 with no cars around). I know I was drowsy at points as I drove all night on the way down to SD, and had the option 'activated' in Uconnect, but it never made a peep. I even tried to 'fool' it into calling me out, and... nothing (one eye closed, the other just cracked, hand touching the wheel to satisfy the self driving system, no body movements at all).
