Hands Free Drivers Assist??

So when I purchased my '22 GCL SR it included the yet to be seen Hands Free Drivers Assist that was supposed to be ready by the summer of '22. Late August I checked with @JeepCares and they told me it would be Winter. I checked with them early this month and they told me to ask my dealer for updates.

I just got a notification form Uconnect that my credit card was expiring soon for my subscriptions, and when I was in there trying to find out how to update it, I noticed that the Hands Free Driving subscription that had always been there does not appear to be there anymore... I'm down to 11% on my oil, so I'll be heading into my dealer soon, but has anybody heard anything official from Jeep saying one way or the other if Hands Free is cancelled for '22 models? That seems like there should be some kind of money given back if that's the case, as that's what I was expecting and was paying a premium for.

1. don't ever get your oil changed at a dealership.
2. I don't think the "hands free" option was ever really a thing. There was the driver assist feature that you should already have, it keeps it between the lines and takes slight corners but your hands have to be touching the wheel lightly.

While I'd have to research it to prove it to you, I am 100% positive that it was an advertised feature that was documented. And I am also completely sure that I had the subscription on my jeep connect profile... JeepCares also confirmed it twice and gave me estimated dates.

I did the research, it's documented in my owners manual on page 156...

Hands-Free Active Driving Assist System — Sensors in the steering wheel & a driver monitoring camera located on top of the steering column monitor driver attentiveness. Allows the driver to remove their hands from the steering wheel.

Can't subscribe to a system that never hit production...microchips!

What's it called? Was it the Active Driving Assist(ADA)? That system is not meant to be what they refer to a level 3 autonomous driving system.

Hands-Free Active Driving Assist System. It is described in the manual right after the normal Active Drivers Assist, which the manual refers to as the "Base Ada" and they call this the "Hands-Free ADA System".1675117146332.png

That is an old version of the manual. Jeep no longer supplies that version because there are lots of things incorrect in it. Your driving assist you want is an example of that.

Here's a picture of the manual that I went out to my garage to take for you. It's the same information but on page 151.

It's on page 132 in the link you provided. I assure you, there is supposed to be a Hands Free option on the 2022 GCL.
Like I said originally there is a bunch of stuff in that manual and even on your windows sticker that you didn't get and never existed.

Projector headlamps also missed the cut

I'm not wading into that discussion. I took a very quick look at mine and I honestly can't tell whether they're projectors or reflectors, all I can say is that they are the best headlights I've ever had on a car, especially the high beams.
