Fog Light Help

We have the Altitude package which didn’t come with fog lights. I know there is a thread or two about this, but there is no useful information. This is a long shot, but would someone with the long narrow style fog lights be able to post pictures of the wiring harness for the fog lights? It’s easy to access by removing 3 screws in the front wheel liner and you can gain access to the fog lights. I’m trying to determine if all Jeeps are pre wired for fog lights or not. I found a wiring harness split off from the front side amber marker, but I don’t think it’s for the fog lights. Anything would be greatly appreciated! I know there are several people trying to figure this out and it’s not easy to find the necessary information.

The next few days have rain in the forecast in my area but if nobody gets back to you before I’m able I’ll try and get a pic for you.

Just to confirm, the pic attached is the style fog light you’re referring to right?

Yes it is! What model grand Cherokee L do you have? It looks like you may have an Altitude as well with the black accents.

I’ve been looking everywhere for info on the fog lights. Hoping to add a pair to my altitude as well.

Sorry for the delay, busy weekend and we got hit with a good bit of snow yesterday. Haven’t gotten a chance to get behind the liner yet but snapped the pic attached through the vents. Not exactly a clear/complete picture of what you’re looking for but hoping it’s a start.

The wires/connector there on the far right seems to be the only plug that goes into it and is routed from over in the far left corner (of the drivers side light) which is where my visibility with the liner on stopped. Let me know if that helps or if you’d like me to still try and get a shot behind the liner.

Btw, make sure to click to expand that picture above. The thumbnail makes it look horrible; you can actually see the back of the connector in the full-size image.

We also have an altitude and I’m interested in this. Being that there’s no switch inside idk if I’d want to install one or just wire the fogs to the headlight wiring. So they’d be on every time the heads are on

If you could, would you be able to see if there’s a part number on the wire? I’ll have to look on ours again and check for that wire. I did not see that type of wire anywhere in my search, but I’ll have to do a better search now that I know what it looks like. I appreciate your help!

tempImageE8FVS4.jpgtempImageVrflh1.jpgtempImage0FtlGL.jpgtempImageKr9O56.jpgThese are pictures of the headlights and fog light area on the Altitude package. The first picture showsour "fog light delete". The second photo is of the driver side headlight. The third is the wiring to the side amber marker light. The fourth is just an overall shot of the headlight area. I am sadly not seeing any wiring for the fog light unless it is located somewhere else. If you're able to post pictures of your headlight and fog light area similar to this, that would be very much appreciated! Thank you!

Hi sorry to bring up an old thread. Is the wire connected to orange plastic part the side marker light? Or could it just be a dummy plug? I’ve attached the only wiring info I found from mopar trying to figure out if there is another wire hidden somewhere.

Wiring part #2 is what we are looking at

I know this doesn’t really help the OP’s question. But I wanted to share these lights I found, eventually I may figure out a bracket to put these on our altitude. Some of the pictures in the reviews make them look really good.

It’s not a dummy plug. There’s an actual light in the orange side marker. I wasn’t seeing a dummy plug anywhere. It’s also difficult to tell which is the correct wiring for #2 as there are multiple to choose from.
